Pictorial review of F18 FDG PET-CT findings of anterior mediastinal masses, and their correlation with contrast enhanced CT

At the end, the reader should be able to distinguish various mediastinal masses on the basis of findings on F18 FDG PET imaging and contrast enhanced CT. Mediastinal masses include a wide variety of tumors and remain an interesting diagnostic challenge for radiologist.
