Abstract
Directional method was designed in accordance with Multiple Allele Hypothesis for transferring genic male sterile(GMS)genes in Chinese cabbage in this paper.Crossing, backcross, selfing, sibling and test cross were applied to transferring multiple alleles from 3A(genic male sterile line with 100%sterility)to 206(male fertile selfing line,Qingmaye type)under the directional model. As a result, new multiple alleles male sterile lines similar to backcross parent-206 in botany and economic characters were obtained, which accomplished the transfer of multiple allele and horticultural characers at the same time.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
