Abstract

The outer s-shell ionization of Ne, Ar and Kr by H$sub 2$$sup +$ and He$sup +$ impact has been studied in the energy range of 100 keV to 1,000 keV. The observed structures in the ionization functions are explainable by molecular processes and by direct Coulomb ionization. (orig.)
