Abstract
To study the chemical constitutes in the lipophilic part from the leafy body of Marchantia convoluta. The compounds were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel and their structures were identified by physical, chemical properties and spectral analysis. Two compounds were isolated and identified as β-sitosterol and stigmasterol. The two compounds were obtained from this plant for the first time.
