Abstract
Hardwood cuttings of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. were treated with I BA @ 750 mg/I proved best with respect to number of days to new sprout (8.83), number of shoots (5.50), number of roots (13.60), fresh and dry weight of roots and survival percentage (90.50) of cuttings. Based on the rooting characters and survival percentage this treatment also proved promising for early rooting, producing more number of roots and for survival percentage.
