Abstract
Variations in diffuse x-ray scattering intensities observed in Ta$sub 0$.$sub 35$Ti$sub 0$.$sub 65$ and (Ta$sub 0$.$sub 35$Ti$sub 0$.$sub 65$)H$sub 0$.$sub 35$ indicate that the introduction of interstitial H atoms into the initially disordered Ta$sub 0$.$sub 35$Ti$sub 0$.$sub 65$ produces some short- range order.
