CEPHALORRHYNCHUS TUBEROSUS (ASTERACEAE), A NEW RECORD FOR THE FLORA OF IRAN

Abstract

INTRODUCTION During the study herbarium specimens in TARI, FAR, and TUH herbaria for the preparation of Flora Iran treatment(Assadi 1989), one specimen was determined as Cephalorrhynchus tuberosus (Stev.) Schchian by the authors, which is reported for the first time for the flora Iran here. Cephalorrhynchus was included by 7 species in Flora Iranica from Iran (Rechinger 1977). An identification key for the all Iranian species is presented here.
