Abstract

It is suggested that at a wave vector near the inverse average interparticle separation, the spectrum of a /sup 3/He atom in superfluid /sup 4/ He has a roton like dip. The results of light scattering and transport measurements in liquid /sup 3/He-/sup 4/He mixtures can thereby be reconciled. (auth)
