Abstract

The unusual high landings of oil sardine is \nbeing; continued in the Palk Bay and Gulf of \nMannar. During March, the trawlers at Rameswaram \nlanded 5.8 t of oil sardine. The average \ncatch >per unit was 252 t. The size ranged from \n121-165 mm.
