Abstract

Methods for analyzing the residues of the Pyrethroid pesticides in waters by using solid phase extraction(C_(18)-cartridge) and gas-chromatography/electron-capture detection(GC/ECD) was established. And the rate of recovery and sensitivity to the method has been appraised. In the paper, the residues of the Pyrethroid pesticides in influents and effluents of the two sewage treatment plants in Beijing were investigated, which were Gaobeidian and Beixiaohe sewage treatment plants. There were four kinds of the Pyrethroid pesticides(bifenthrin, cypermethrin, fenvalerate and deltamethrin) were checked out and their levels were between 0.013 and 0.920μg/L.The results indicated that the treatment taken by the sewage treatment plants could remove most of Pyrethroid pesticides.By the analytical method, the recoveries for standard spiking environmental water were 67.7%~96.2%,respectively the detected limit of the method were 0.010~0.015μg/L
