Abstract

Effect of neem seed kernel powder on population build up of bruchids, Callosobruchus maculatus and Callosobruchus chinensis in stored legumes were studied. It was observed that neem seed kernel powder contains growth inhibitor and insecticidal properties and effectively control population of C. maculatus and C. chinensis in stored grains of legumes under the laboratory condition.
