Abstract
Dyspepsia is the medical term for difficult digestion. It consists of various symptoms in the upper abdomen near the ribs, such as fullness, discomfort, early satiation, bloating, heartburn, nausea, vomiting or epigastric pain. Some patients experience a lack of appetite or weight loss. Initial evaluation should focus on the identification and treatment of potential causes of dyspepsia.
