Abstract
The crystal structure of strontium zirconate might provide a clue to the understanding of the stress-strain behavior of the material and for that reason considerable time was expended in careful x-ray analysis. Efforts to sinter strontium zirconate were not successful. The reasons for this are being investigated. Efforts to grow single crystals of strontium zirconate by precipitation from low melting salts are continuing. (auth)
