Abstract
A method for calibrating a scintillation gamma spectrometer by means of 4 pi BETA - gamma coincidences is described and a formula for processing the results is derived. An analytical expression is derived for the efficiency of the spectrometer as a function of gamma energy. A graph is presented for the efficiency of the spectrometer with sodium iodide crystals. The absolute efficiency of the spectrometer is obtained. (C.E.S.)
