Abstract
Residues of imidacloprid formulations were studied in okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) fruits from seed treatment and foliar application. No detectable residues of imidacloprid seed treatment formulations were found in the fruits harvested at 45, 50, 55 and 60 days after sowing. However, the residues from imidacloprid foliar spray formulations viz., imidacloprid 70 WG and imidacloprid 17.8 SL both at 20 and 25 g a.i./ha persisted upto 5 days in the fruits and became non detectable on 7th day after application of both the formulations.
