Abstract

It has been a long history for Western political thoughts to discuss over the demarcation of public/private sphere. Liberalism-the mainstream political thought in West, the demarcation of public/private sphere is one of her components. But the demarcation of public/private sphere in liberalism suffers much criticisms. For example, contemporary feminists criticize the demarcation of public/private sphere in liberalism to exclude the female from public sphere. What is public sphere? What is private sphere? What is their demarcation? This article will discuss Chantal Mouffe how to reinterpret the demarcation of public/private sphere.
