Investigation on River Pollution Situations in Rural Areas

Abstract
With a branch of Pajiang River in Fogang County of Qingyuan City in Guangdong Province as the object,the status of water pollution in this basin was analyzed.The data analysis of 11 sample sites of the river showed that total nitrogen,CODcr and coliform were the main pollution factors in this area.The cultivation waste water drainage can bring serious microbe pollution on the lower water body.The river pollution sources of this area mainly came from the untreated cultivation sewage,domestic sewage and farmland irrigation water.
