Investigation and floristic analysis of pteridophyte in Zijin Mountain National Forest Park in Nanjing

Based on the field investigation and reference collection,the floristic analysis of pteridophyte in Zijin Mountain National Forest Park was conducted. The results indicate that there are 79 species (including 2 varieties) belonging to 36 genera in 25 families in Zijin Mountain. The dominant families include Dryopteridaceae,Thelypteridaceae,Athyriaceae. The dominant genera are Dryopteris,Asplenium,Hypodematium,Arachniodes,Polystichum. The dominant species are Pteris multifida,Cyclosorus acuminatus,Dryopteris fuscipes,Dryopteris championii. For the pteridophyte of Zijin Mountain,eleven families including 12 genera belong to the cosmopolitan area type; thirteen families including 18 genera belong to the tropical areal type; one family including five genera are the temperate areal type. Only one specie uniquely distributes in China. The pteridophyte of Zijin Mountain shows significant relation to tropical type,and it is close to that of Banqiao and Longwang Mountain. Zijin Mountain locates in the central and east China region. The pteridophyte of Zijin Mountain is a typical flora in Jiangsu province which is valuable to scientific study. In this study,Coniogramme intermedia and Athyrium sinense are found to be new species in Jiangsu.
