Abstract

Educational inequality is one of the types of inequality which always pervades on an educational system. The existence of the educational inequality alongside other inequalities and their interaction are the most important in a society. This paper attempts to examine the factors that affect educational inequality in Kazeroon city. The method of present study is survey and data collection tool is questionnaire. Statistical sample is- including Head of Household based on Cochran formula (275 cases were selected as examples of multi-stage sampling). Our findings show that the educational inequality has significant relationship with variables like the school's type, student self-assessment, the average elementary school, guidance school and high school, number of failing at school. And the number of family educated members. Overall, the independent variables can explain 21 perent of variations.
