Abstract
Sclerotinia rot (SR), caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, is a serious problem in oilseed Brassica grown worldwide. Seventy Brassica accessions belonging to B. juncea and B. napus were evaluated for resistance to SR by artificial stem inoculation with an Indian isolate of S. sclerotiorum in 2007–08 and 2008–09. Chinese B. juncea genotype Ringot I, and Australian B. napus accession BLN 3245 were found resistant to SR.
