Abstract
Field efficacy of imidacloprid, cartap hydrochloride, fipronil, ethofenprox, thiodicarb, spinosad and chlorpyriphos was studied against sucking insect pests (Brown planthopper, white backed planthopper and green leafhopper of rice and imidacloprid @ 0.25 ml/l was found very effective against the sucking pests of rice followed by ethofenprox @ 1.5 ml/l.
