Effect of commercial formulations of bioagent against Bacterial leaf blight of Rice

Three commercial formulations namely PBA-1, PBA-2, and PBA-3 were found significantly superior than chemical treatment in reducing disease severity while, PBA-4, Sudocel, Trichozen-T and Florezen-P were as effective as chemical during kharif 2006 and 2007. All the treatments were found significantly effective in increasing grain yield and 1000 grain weight of rice. The results of present study revealed that the commercial formulation PBA-3 based on mixture of T. harzianum and P. fluorescens performed better as compared to commercial formulation based on single antagonist.
