Abstract
An investigation was carried out to study the efficacy of neem products alone and in combination with carbofuran on root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita, infecting jute. The study revealed that neem cake, nemin-coated urea and carbofuran 3G either alone or in combination with each other brought about considerable reduction in incidence of root-knot nematode. However, neem cake alone proved most effective out of all the treatments with regards to promoting growth parameters and fiber yield of jute.
