Digital preservation is the series of actions and interventions required to ensure continued and reliable access to authentic digital objects for as long as they are deemed to be of value. Therefore in this study an attempt has been made to identify the digital preservation strategies, scope and objectives of digital preservation policy, preservation challenges and standards for digital preservation. Further, the study highlights on standards for digital preservation access and architecture for digital preservation content.
