Abstract
A study on the change of abscisic acid and indole-3-acetic acid in pear fruitlets during growing periods is important for the research on the pollination and fertilization of pear. Abscisic acid and indole-3-acetic acid were converted into pentafluorobenzyl esters by a-bromo-2, 3, 4, 5, 6-pentafluorotoluene. The two generated esters were able to he simultaneously determined with electron-capture gas chromatography without other processes. The recovery of abscisic acid and indole-3-acetic acid were 95.8% and 84.5% respectively. The method was simple, sensitive and reliable.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
