Abstract

Specimens of the caddisfly (Trichoptera) families Hydropsychidae and Philopotamidae collected in the Reserve Naturelle Integrale d’ Andohahela and surrounding areas are discussed and identified. An examination of the regional distribution of these caddisflies at the species level using correspondence analysis clearly shows a distinct faunal separation between the humid eastern forests and dry western forest habitats.
