Abstract

The adult male, female, immature stages, and egg of a new genus and species of whitefly, Agrostaleyrodes arcanus Ko gen. et sp. nov. are described from Taiwan, where the species is widely distributed on Miscanthus sinensis Gramineae). Scanning electron micrographs and figures are included with descriptions of immature stages and adults.
