Abstract
Genetics of seedling resistance to H. sativum (Pusa isolate) was studied in the four intervarietal crosses: Sharbati Sonora × Agra. Local,’ Sharbati Sonora × Hyb. 65, E. 4853 × Agra Local and Sharbati Sonora × E. 4853. Resistance of Sharbati Sonora and E. 4853 was sfund to be conditioned by two dominant complementary genes. These two sets of complementary genes seemed to be distinct from each other.
