Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare the estimating power of hedonic price function using simple linear regression equation and log-linear regression equation. For analyzing the hedonic price model, physical and environmental characteristics of single family housing located in north-east of Seoul were used. The correlation coefficient(R2) of simple linear regression equation and log-linear regression equation was 0.856, 0.858 respectively. As a result, log-linear regression analysis is superior to simple linear regression analysis in estimating the hedonic price.
