Abstract

Efficacy of neem, mustard cakes, organic amendment, econeem seed treatment and carbofuran soil application separately and in combinations was tested against Meloidogyne incognita infesting lettuce. Neem cake, mustard cake and econeem (neem formulation) when used either singly or in combination with carbofuran @ 10 mg/kg soil and 20 mg/kg soil improved the plant growth of lettuce with significant decrease in root galling, fecundity and final nematode population.
