Abstract
The order of bachelor's thesis is to introduce to issue of armour, more precisely to passive vehicle protection. In brief history reader will be introduced to modern armour development from the time of first armoured vehicles into present. Amount of terms about armour protection and ways of its military overcoming is explained. Modern anti-armour principles like shaped charge and fin stabilized sabot projectile are relatively thoroughly described. Possible future development of passive armour through material (alloy) replacement is suggested (Improved rolled homogeneous armour, titanium). The last theoretic chapter concerns use of armour in industry of commercial security.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
