Regional Studies of Yunnan Province Land Consolidation

The principle and method for land consolidation regionalization in Yunnan Province were introduced,according to differences of natural conditions,such as landform,climate,soil,hydrology,and characteristics of land use spatial layout,agriculture zoning,cultivation system,consolidation measures,using GIS spatial analysis and mathematical analysis method,the land consolidation regionalization index system was established including five indicators of eco-environment,social economy,land use,land consolidation,land quality.On the basis of this,Yunnan Province was divided into five first-level region: Zhongshan Lake highland consolidation region in central of Yunnan,low hill basin consolidation region in southwest of Yunnan,Karst low hill consolidation region in southeast of Yunnan Province,mountain plateau consolidation area in northwest of Yunnan,mountain consolidation region in northeast of Yunnan Province.
