Abstract
Studies were conducted on the occurrence of metabolic mediated resistance in cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii to selected insecticides viz., endosullan, monocrotophos, dimethoate, phosphamidon, carbaryl and cypermethrin using synergist TPP in 1:10 and 1:5 ratios. The resistant aphid population of Warangal district exhibited significant TPP suppressible metabolic resistance even at 1:5 ratio in respect of monocrotophos and cypermethrin.
