Abstract

Irradiation of enriched $^{150}\mathrm{Nd}$ with fast neutrons was found to produce a new radioactivity which was assigned to the ($n, p$) product $^{150}\mathrm{Pr}$. The following radiation characteristics were observed to belong to $^{150}\mathrm{Pr}$: half-life 6.1 \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} 0.3 sec, $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray energy 131.0 \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} 0.8 keV, and maximum ${\ensuremath{\beta}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$-ray energy 5.7 \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} 0.3 MeV.
