Abstract

Management of damping-off of tobacco nurseries, through effective bio-agent, effective fungicide, soil solarization and neem cake which were applied individually and in combination revealed that the integrated treatment involving was the best and recorded a highest germination percentage of 85.50, the lowest per cent disease incidence of 5.54, lesser disease growth rate of 3.20, more fresh weight of 1.25 g and more dry weight of 1.09 than the individual treatments. There is an increase in soil temperature up to 10°C in soil solarization.
