Abstract

National Rural Health Mission started in April 2005, which is considered the life line for the health sector in rural area. This programme has given a belief among rural people that something constructive has come to revive the health of the rural people. The study on awareness and utilization of National Rural Health Mission services among rural people in Maharashtra was conducted keeping in mind to evaluate the percentage of people aware and utilize the NRHM services.
