Abstract
After more than two years of investigation and relevant literature,it was found that there were 31 families,71 genera, more than 150 kinds,1800 vegetable varieties in Yunnan. Results showed that vegetable resources were abundant in Yunnan, but the most varieties were only planted in small area, and the planting scope was also narrow.Especially, the partial varieties gradually withdrawn from the market and were eliminated at last. This paper focuses on the analysis of the growth and decline about local germplasm resources, and discusses the development and utilization of germplasm resources of Yunnan vegetable varieties.
