Abstract
The effect of three amino acids (DL-alanine, DL-serine and DL-threonine) as antimetabolites on root knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita and their effects on host plant (tomato) was investigated. These amino acids both as foliar sprays and soil drenches did not have any adverse effect on the growth and vigour of tomato plants, but significantly affected the development and reproduction of the nematode except DL-threonine as a foliar spray.
