Introduction to Samuel Dodd's Reports

The law reports of Samuel Dodd, which date from 1678 to 1713, are mostly from the Court of Exchequer from a period when there has been to date no printed law reports specific to this English court. There are a few scattered Exchequer reports published in the general English law reports of this period, and these have been reprinted in order to give a view of the jurisdiction of this court.
