Studies on fruit characters in relation to infestation of shoot and fruit borer, Leucinodes orbonalis Guen. in brinjal, Solanum melongena Linn.

Study of fruit character of brinjal in relation to the infestation by shoot and fruit borer, Leucinodes orbonalis Guen. revealed that the length of peripheral seed ring and that of seed less area of fruit is linearly co-related with the degree of infestation.
