Abstract

The results of field experiment conducted to study the economic advantage of different companion crops in Autumn planted sugarcane, revealed that intercropping of vegetable pea gave the maximum millable canes/clump (8), average weight per cane (1.20 kg), brix value (19.5%), cane yield (115.0 t ha−1), and benefit cost ratio (5.65).
