Abstract

A study focusses on undocumented migrant workers and presents the background of Burmese migration, the role of the Burmese government in assisting Burmese migrants and Thai government policies towards migrant labour in Thailand. Burmese migrants have been marginalised by the unrealistic policies of the Burmese military regime and economic hardship in the country.
