Abstract

OBJECTIVE: The authors compared several kinds of new and traditional antiepileptic drugs(AEDs) including carbamazepine(CBZ),valproate(VPA), topiramate (TPM) and levetiracetam (LEV) on efficacy and tolerability of monotherapy for epilepsy,in order to find the appropriate drugs for this disorder.
