Abstract
As EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) technology widely used in optical fiber access network, solving the security problems of optical network is necessary. This paper reviews the most recent studies conducted in EPON network and presents a method of optical network monitoring. The main purpose of the method is EPON link data acquisition via back-to-back mode, which is an OLT (Optical Line Terminal) chip and an ONU (Optical Network Unit) chip in series between the central office and the remote office. In addition, the method is based on the premise, which does not affect users' business, not only avoiding the decryption of EPON downstream data, but also solving the compatibility problem of different equipment manufactures for the production of OLT and ONU.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
