Abstract

Field experiment conducted for two years on red sandy loam soils revealed that integrated method of weed control consisting of pre-emergence application of pendimethalin or alachlor 1 kg/ha followed by one hand weeding 30 d.a.s. were found most effective not only in control of weeds but also in obtaining higher yield of groundnut as compared to other treatments except weed free check.
