Abstract

Today, the matter of air pollution control has become a compounding problem. There is a greater level of public interest now than in years past, with special concern directed at “what effects will air pollution have upon our lives”, and “what can be done to reduce air pollution.” Progressive pollution control can only be successful with society's efforts, guided by scientists and engineers, and with the cooperative backings of government and industry.
