Abstract

The objectives were to determine the effect of PuO/sub 2/ content on the radiation stability of UO/sub 2/-- PuO/sub 2/, to compare the performance of fuel cores prepared with coprecipitated UO/sub 2/-- PuO/sub 2/ to those with mechanical mixtures of UO/sub 2/-- PuO/sub and to investigate in-reactor sintering of low density UO/sub 2/-- PuO/sub 2/.
