Abstract
The development, application, results, and costs of a small-scale mail-out/telephone collection travel survey conducted in the Denver metropolitan area from April to May 1985 are described. Steps taken to minimize the survey administration costs are discussed. Methods used to include housebolds with unlisted telephone numbers, collect the travel data, and adjust the survey results to ensure that they matched observed distributions of housebolds across various socioeconomic data are also discussed.
