Abstract

This paper provides eigenfunction expansions associated with the stationary problems for elastic wave propagation in stratified media $R^{3}$. The eigenfunction expansion is given in terms of generalized eigenfunctions corresponding to incident, reflected, refracted and Stoneley waves.
