Abstract

Forty five F1 hybrids of brinjal or eggplant (Solarium melongena L.) in a diallel set involving ten parents (including reciprocals) were studied to investigate the gene action of five characters. Both graphical and numerical methods of diallel analysis were used for biometric analysis.
